February 26, 2025 (Singapore) – Resorts World Cruises has announced its transition back to two of Asia’s most iconic cruise brands: StarCruises and Dream Cruises. This move marks a return to the company’s original roots, which shaped the Asian cruise industry for over 30 years.
Key Changes in the Fleet:
- Resorts World One will be renamed Star Navigator, joining Star Voyager under the StarCruises brand.
- Genting Dream will continue operating under the Dream Cruises brand.
- The brand transition will take approximately three months to complete.

StarCruises will offer a premium yet affordable lifestyle cruising experience, featuring:
- Mid-sized ships (about 2,000 passengers) for intimate voyages.
- Short, port-intensive itineraries catering to fly-cruise and domestic travelers.
- Vibrant onboard entertainment and world-class dining.
- New routes: Star Navigator will begin Singapore to Krabi and Penang voyages from March 7, 2025, before moving to Taiwan for an 8-month deployment with routes to Japan and South Korea.

- Spacious ships with over 3,000-passenger capacity.
- Exclusive Fly-Cruise itineraries for global travelers.
